Christoph Engle has been a professional woodworker for over ten years. He obtained much of his early training doing high-end custom work as well as reproduction work at many woodworking shops in the Midwest. |
In 1996, Christoph received a BFA in Furniture Design from Kendall College of Art and Design. That same year, his showcase cabinet was included at the International Woodworking Festival student design competition in Atlanta, Georgia. Following graduation, Christoph spent two years in his hometown of Chicago as a designer and project coordinator for Agati, Inc., a leader in the contract furniture industry. Christoph continued his training by completing the prestigious woodworking program at the College of the Redwoods. Under the guidance of Master cabinetmaker James Krenov, Christoph honed his skills, learned many new ones, and raised his woodworking to a new level. |
Today, Christoph works and plays in Taos, New Mexico. He can be found in his spacious studio where he continues to pursue excellence in woodworking. |

And when he's not making fine cabinetry... He's making music . |
